£400 a leg!!! I'll give that a miss

Wanting to keep the bike standard, so need to keep the original forks
Spoke to the nice people at pttedforks.co.uk £320 to rechrome and repolish the fork bottoms complete with fresh oil and postage......think i'll save me pennies for that.
thanks everyone for your input

where do you get quid a leg from? polishing is a doddle, buy a kit from ebay and do it yourself. its dirty but easy. if you want to stay clean, you pay someone else to get dirty, but if you want it done cheap, do it youself! i reccon nder 2 quid for a kit then its jst your time!

John is obviously pissed as a fart(judging by the last post) but translation is - for about a tenner you can get a polishing kit from flea bay and do it yourself.
