Wouldn't dream of doing this but

Post by jerry » Fri Oct 19, 2012 3:28 pm

.....................................Just wondered if anyone has used wheels, forks, swingarm from a GSF1200 bandit in their 1100/1000 Kat. :?:

If this is a really stupid question....don't take the mick too much.

yes, its all been done, pop over to http://www.oldskoolsuzuki.info" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, plenty of mods there with bandit running gear used. try looking for 1200 inazuma swingarm or gsx 750 (the gsxr engined retro version) to allow you to keep the twin shocks or else look through peddas pictures to see how to monoshock a kat without doing any non reversable frame mods.

Yep OSS is the place to go, you may find with the B12 yokes you will need to swop your stem as the B12 one is longer, but thats not a prob.
I've put GSXR1100K front end on my Kat.

Did that mod on my wife's kat and for a mate. If you go for that project I guess I might be able to help out in answering upcoming questions.

...if there are any, obviously. ;)
