footpeg part two.....

any suggestions on how to straighten this out, i have tried heat and a hammer but i don't think i got enought heat into it and besides, my vice isn't really man enough for the job :( must ask for a new one from santa ;)

i spoke to my old man and he said the bike had never been dropped.

or has anyone got a good condition one up for grabs :roll:

I`ve got 1 but I think it looks pretty similar to yours. ie slightly bent up. I`ll try and have a look over the weekend.

Use a scaffolding tube 4 feet long, slid over the footrest bit...................you'll need someone to hold the bike up whilst you do it!

Scarf tube will bend the frame before the peg hanger. Frame is thin tube. Hanger is solid casting. Try it with the peg rubber on first before you bend or grind anything
