Stainless steel pipes

Hi

Has anyone tried VHT (the brand) flameproof clear lacquer on stainless steel exhaust pipes.

I am sick of polishing them. then they go brown after about a week.

The VHT stuff is ceramic based paint, which is breathable and lets the heat out.

Also I wonder if I clean out the inside of the pipes and spray the insides it would work.
