Left hand engine case, what others fit ?

Looking for a spare generator cover for the racing Kat, I know the generators smaller but are the covers off the gsx1100 the same and are the Kat/gsx750 covers also the same ?

No for both

Only a 1000/1100 SD/SZ will fit.

You need the one with 4930 stamped on the inside, next to the generator guide.

I bought a pair of these to protect my gen cover. Half the price of a new cover.

Cheers for the info Keith, Don't think those crash bars will help ground clearance
Need a spare cover as going to cut a bit off the lower edge and plate it for more clearance, assuming there's enough room to the generator.

Will your 1000sz racer have the genny fitted or will it be a total loss system to save on weight. If the latter then all GSX1100 cases will fit.

If you are running a geeny you'll need a casing with 4930 stamped on the inside just as KEKAT says...........but getting quite rare now.

Did KEKAT throw his old one away?............if not maybe it can be repaired and strengthened for use on the track!

Hi Rob, I think we're running the geny, as it's production class. a damaged one will do as long as it's not totalled. scuffed up or small hole is ok, cheers.
The bikes an 1100 btw.

Mines a bit better than that Mal But even that'll repair with a bit of alloy welding

i'll see if i can dig it out, just cant remember where I saw it last...............It has a slight dent and a small crack, a bit like me

Keith, how much do you want for postage, Yours could be handy to use to make a plate for Robs one, or maybe it will repair if i show it to a welder.
