Another paint question

Is the center stand and side stand, gloss black or satin black, also what colour should the rear brake torque arm be, mine is red at the moment.
Totally stripped my bike today, surprised at how well built they are compared to my other bikes. My only complaint is that it has the worst quality welding I have ever seen on a motorcycle. Got to decide weather to dress the welds before the frame gets painted?

Side stand, main stand and torque arm all the same color, just black. Gloss black looks a bit strange here, I'd go for satin matt.
As for the welds: don't just smooth them. In case you really want to do something on this item then have them rewelded by a professional. But that'd be just cosmetics, the frame is 30 years old, the welds cannot be too bad, strengthwise.

if there's some spatter etc around the welds i'd maybe clean those up a little but don't smooth off the "tube" welds if you know what i mean... i'd also go satin black on the stands n torque arm. gloss is tooooo much. gloss black should be banned on bikes imho ...lol

Cheers guys, Hard to tell with some bikes what the original black was like when they get to 30 years old.
The welds are solid but just look badly done, looks like I did them.

I know people always say Jap bikes have pigeon shit welds, these look like hippo shit.
Got a bad back today after getting that engine out on my own.
