Stainless pistons for Rear Caliper?
Decided to strip the rear caliper down for painting. Taking the pistons out there is a little bit of pitting on them (see image - this is the worst one).
They weren't leaking before but I take it I am probably better off replacing with stainless ones? If so where is the best place to get them I already bought the seals and dust covers.
Cheers for any advice,
Rob

Re: Stainless pistons for Rear Caliper?
Must be time of year! I seem to be taking more apart than putting together at mo, but wanting to get it all back together by start of May.
Hopefully someone then can give us some advice and do 2 for the price of 1

I bought a full set for a 400 last year from a guy on ebay who advertises, not thank much about £50 incl posting . (Remember 400 is as RGV and has 10 pistons in total.)
Re: Stainless pistons for Rear Caliper?
Best ones I have found are £28 each for the front. And £20 for the rear

Re: Stainless pistons for Rear Caliper?
A quick search revealed a company on eBay from Sheffield called powerhouse -uk selling pistons at £15.50 ish and £2.95 postage, combined postage available. So call them and buy over the phone this will save fees and they will most probably do a deal.
All you need to know is the dimensions of said pistons.
I would have copied the link. But can't operate this pigging iPad to do that!

Cheers. I did see Powerhouse but nothing listed for the Katana, but that was a good idea to give them a call, so will do later on.
I did see Webmoto do them as well but with the seal and dust cover which I have, but at tleast hat is an off the shelf option, though probably more in money terms!:

The GSX1100SD rear caliper was fairly generic wasn't it - what other bikes did it fit on - thought that info might help someone making them up and listing as replacements.

Oh, HarrisKat, Webmoto stainless piston kit does include the seals and dust cover for £28.54 for the rear and has the GSX750SE listed:
