clock bulbs

thought i would try some leds in my clocks. will pop out later when its dark and see what they are like, but they look a lot brighter already. Nice white light.

Lookin good well bright 8-) should last a while too. did the same with my rear light as was always breaking due to vibes.

I've put LED's in my 650 clocks but I put ordinary bulbs for the indicator repeaters as they seemed to go yellow with the LED's and I like the orange. At least I wont have to faf around trying to replace neutral or high beam as they are the ones that seem to go on my 650 well when it was on the road.

Are they capless......need some for my Ford Capri Dash lights............a glow worm gives off more light!

I've fitted some to Skruffy Kat. They are T10 spec which is a capless push fit design, I think you can get pretty much all the lamp types in LED form now.

These should replace the 501, but just check the number of LEDs and whether they have an envelope around them. For a car it's probably not a big issue but for the bikes they tend to sit in rubber housings and use the envelope to secure them in place
