I`ve used smothrite silver on my 1100 engine and been very happy with it giving a good durable finish and petrol proof too...

Since I last used it several weeks ago the fuel tap has been left slightly on, normally I turn it off even if I`m just stopping for a short time, but not this time though and fuel has leaked from the pipe and dropped onto the motor
BOLL**KS Not so petrol proof as I thought

Will check the oil for fuel just in case its full of fuel, doesn't smell like it though.

Leave it with me when you go abroad and i'll paint it for you free of charge.....eventually
