If memory serves me right the 6 spring bolts are 9pound feet and the centre nut is 60 bit let me check tom. I fit new hd nuts and new tab washers to mine

Got it done now, found my gsx manual, it's for the earlier model and said 36-50ft/lb, as i have a h/d nut i did it up to 60ft/lb as per John's memory, cheers ;)

The clutch was dragging so took it apart and found rocking play on the centre and a couple of steel bearings fell out of the cage of the oil pump drive. I've put my big popup clutch in it now which has a billet basket, it's only sat in the garage for nearly 20 years  , lot of soaking in oil and it works, dragged a bit then got better as it warmed up, seems ok just got to take for a ride now, clutch is a bit heavier now as it has shortened spring spacers..

Was typing as you posted Pedda, thanks for the pics, that confirms it, i'm happy with the 60ft/lb, it's a little more than specified but normally h/d nuts require a little more anyway :)

Yeah - when it says 50 - 70 I always go for the top.
