Hi,
I guess I'm not the first to come across a leaky anti-dive unit and wondered if the parts are available to service them.
The leak looks to be from the breather hole on the rear of one of the anti-dive units giving a lovely slow dribble of oil down the leg.
Have googled this and found lots of reference to blanking off the anti-dive but would rather keep it as bike is going back to original as far as possible.
Any help appreciated

Probably easier to just replace the whole thing Andy. Plenty around i think. I may even have one in my garage. Will have a look.

whilst its off, before you fit or assemble it, replace the circlips in the unit with stainless steel circlips. the stock steel circlips rust and seize and fall apart because of the moisture in there. replacing them with stainless will prevent this , and for the couple of quid its likely to cost, its well worth it.

I had similar issues with mine. After getting the forks refurbished! I did cheat as I was getting a master cylinder overhauled at Past Parts and sent them there. Mainly because they would have easier access to the seals needed. But if you are not in a hurry you can take them apart easily and measure up. Then your local bearing factors will be able to find a match.

They are no longer available from Suzuki but every now and then NOS appear on weEvil BAY

Thanks guys - I'll drain down the forks and pull the anti-dives apart to see what state they're in.
If I can get the seals matched up that's probably the best route and will also look at changing the clips.
In the meantime I thought I'd try to fire the girl up but playtime ended early as petrol pissed out of the carbs as soon as I connected up to the tank!
All part of the fun I guess!
