hi all
i have a 1100 tank that i picked up of online
upon closer inspection noticed a few past repairs under the paint and found few pin holes behind the side panel lugs + a major ripple on rh side
is it worth me getting it fixed or scourer the net for weeks trying to find another tank
ideally i need a tank from uk been offered a few but outside of uk
would anyone know of a repair center or a decent tank for sale?

Repairing, lining, and painting can cost an arm and a leg.
Any good tanks that crop up will go for top dollar as they're becoming quite scarce.
I had a tank repaired, lined, and along with a fairing painted and it cost me about £640.
That was at Rapier Paintwork at Hull.

ive spoken to people who have bought brand new tanks from suzuki within the last 3 months, they came sealed boxed up and ready painted, and the price began with a 3! theyre out there if you are prepared to do the digging,

I have just done an extensive repair to one of my tanks.
I welded it and pressure tested it and its ok now.
I also fully seam welded it which adds much strength to the rear lugs and helps against corrosion.
How bad is your damage ?
If its not too bad it can be welded.
Where about in the world are you ?
