Morning all. Can anyone tell me what the standard main jet size is on an 1100 with 34mm C.V. carbs.
Recently had mine on the Dyno and it’s over fueling quite a bit. Running k&n with 4 into 1 Marshall exhaust. I had the head flowed and barrels honed with new rings. Anyone with similar set up, what size mains are you using?
Cheers!

I'm no carb expert by a long shot and found this guide useful in explaining what comes into play at different throttle positions:
https://www.thejunkmanadv.com/motorcycl ... tting.html
I guess to note is that "Improper float height setting (too high) or leaky or worn float needle valve will exhibit a RICH condition as well."
I need to get mine dyno'ed to check fuelling on the 1100 and 400 as they both have had 4 into 1 fitted, though the 400 I upped by 4 sizes so far and it does seem better. 1100 is still on standard.
What kind of cost did your dyno check set you back and what did they do (like just run it up and down a couple of times and give a chart, or more than that?). I've never had one done before, so was interested.

Hi Bob, had the dyno done at Lincoln bike day by a bloke called Richard Board. He’s got a few efe’s so is into his old Suzuki’s. He had a talk through what his thoughts were afterwards , so it wasn’t a dyno quickie lol
He charged £20. He’s mobile so does bike shows and meets, he was up at Squires last week. He’s got a FB page if you want to look
