Rear tail piece

My 82 1100 came with a Blue rear tail piece fitted, is this correct or should it be Black?

I'm fairly sure blue is correct but would rather have a second opinion.

Hi Jack, my recently purchased 82 gsx1100sz is in fairly original condition apart from chopped rear mudguard and chainguard ,harris 4-1, and has a blue textured tailpiece. I'm sure it's right but I'm no expert!, cheers Ian.
