Sometime back, I had to replace the handlebars after they were damaged when my bike was knocked over in a car park.
The part no for the original bars is 56110-34300 but Robinsons said they were no longer available and had been superseded by part no 56110-34302.
However when I tried these new bars, they had no rise in them and left you crouched forward over the petrol tank in a racing stance that is uncomfortable and does not suit the bike. The original bars had a more upright riding stance.
Photos on the internet of the bike confirmed the original bars had much more rise in them.
In the end the closest I could find to the originals were some Renthal handlebars but they still lacked a bit of rise.
So my question is, where can I get the original bars or something similar to the ones fitted to my bike when I first purchased it?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Look at replacement handlebars for CB500 later model type though this is a reference , and what is fitted to my ED2/1 jobbie. A handlebar is just that , you need to measure width, and rise which will be in the listings.

Thanks Fossie. The CB500 had more rise but not quite enough.
In the end I found a match for the bars on Aliexpress and have included the link for anyone interested in sourcing original bars for the 650 Katana (£24.26 inc P&P).
