816 carb jetting question

Post by BigLT » Wed Jun 10, 2020 4:38 pm

Hello again, straight back in with the pleas for help, sorry.

I have a 750 with an 816 Wiseco kit, standard carbs, marving 'racing' exhaust and pod filters.

Firstly, I know it would be easier to use the standard airbox and there is likely to be a lot of messing about to get it right...

Please can anyone tell me what might be a good baseline for carb jets. I know this is an unusual set up, but I have no experience of this and I am hoping that someone can get me somewhere in the right county, if not in the right ballpark.

thanks in advance.

I believe Steve (KatMarch on here) has the 816 kit (or similar) and has just sorted his carbs after a rebuild. I would PM him and ask.

Thanks Both,
I'll get in touch - maybe he tried standard things first....
