Same around here, plenty of 'speed humps' and other such shoite and traffic lights time to maximise congestion..... signs have gone up around Newcastle albeit its already been delayed and they are now stating it will apply to 'business' users only initially ??

The original plan here was to charge trucks , vans , buses and Taxis to enter Manchester centre .
So the people who need to be there get charged and the ones who cause the congestion can come and go freely .....
Every day when I collect from King st the parking bays are filled with the same cars , one is a nurse from the practice I'm collecting from ...they get there in the morning and leave them all day after an hour they get a parking ticket which they leave on windscreen ...if they pay with 24 hrs it's £25 after that 14 days £60 after that £100.
They pay the £25 which is cheaper than parking charges for a day in that area .!
