Hi and welcome.
1 of my projects is to try and squeeze a GSX600F engine into the 400. A gixxer11 has been stuffed in but it took major frame surgery.
Just go everywhere with north of 6000rpm and enjoy it for a while

Hello from the windy norf sir. As for scruffy 400 well most are like that ...............or is that just the one oop norf?
like has been said just wring it's neck.
Mines got over 110000 and still fine , carries smand and I no worries.

Hi Chris good to see someone else on here from Poole.
I also remember how cresents were in the day when Paul Denning was working there with his old man.
You might also remember Huxhams up on Ashly Rd parkstone thats where I saw my first big Kat. It was always an experience buying bits from there upstairs in their parts dept with the old boy in the brown overals. He always seemed to need engine and frame numbers before you could buy anything. Was a real pain at the time, good memories though.
Anyway welcome to the club, as said before great bunch.
