Hi all, Feel a bit cheeky joining here as I don't own a Kat, but hope to put that right at some point! Would love to find a 1000 or 1100 to do up, but am sure everyone else would too! Seem to be some 750's knocking around at reasonable money. Closest I got was an old steel framed Spondon I had with a 1000 kat motor in it. Wish I could find that bike now. I am sure veryone has a bike they regret selling and that was mine.
Anyway Hi all and look forward to catching up at some point. Do you ever meet up at shows?

Hiya. If you keep an eye in upcoming events you will see what we are up to all over the shop.
Welcome to the insanity. Currently just on our way back from our southern rally in Devon.

Hello
'Spondon' was this because you had the spondon framed bike or do you work for them? I've seen some nice bikes by them
Welcome & hope to meet up sometime, we get all over the place, which area are you near?
Steve

Hi Steve, No I don't work for Spondon, not that it really exists any more as Norton bought it out. The forum name comes from my building and owning Spondons since around 1985 when I built a Spondon steel tube bike with the katana 1000cc motor in it, well more of a conversion really as it was a racebike that I bought to convert for road use as it was not a registered bike. That bike was sold 20 odd years ago and I am desperate to get her back! My current Spondon is the one in my avatar, but the pic is rubbish.
Have always wanted a Kat as they are completely different to all other bikes, so joined here to learn and have some fun!

Howdy. Fire up some pics of your Spondons. if the one on your avatar is anything to go by they'd be worth showing off.
