Hey all, pick up my first katana a few months ago, a S2 750 that I'm in the process on fettling, I'll start a thread on projects.
There's a thread on OSS so a lot of you have probably seen it, I've had grief off johnR over keeping the boat anchor motor :D

Hi to all, a newbie to the club. Owned a selection of GSX 750 S3 1986 parts for two years now and just starting the rebuild. I hope I can post some helpful photos and info and find likewise in the process. Just fitted a new YSS monoshock and currently replaced the head race/stem bearings. Long way to go but it’s a start. I’m on the look out for a right hand switch in good condition if anyone can help.

Hi Mak

Cheers Mick, tried in vane to find the right place to start but for me it all seems a little confusing with this posting malarkey. Looked at the FAQ and was overwhelmed. I thought I was posting in the “Hello” section for newbies, does such a thing exist? I’ll have another bash at getting it right, but don’t hold your breath. Are there any instructions or preferably videos of how to attach photos to posts? Best wishes Berti

Hi there Mak595 project threads are always welcome, As are you, as for grief from johnr about boat anchors , ;) my S2 still has such an item , :o it has taken me to Switzerland and Denmark 2 up with luggage aswell rallies here in UK, it will remain where it was put in the first place. That way it will not need just.....and just..... 8-)
It will just start and take me there. :ugeek:

Hi Fossie, is this message meant for me: Berti44, or MAK595? Either way good to chat but I can only guess what Johnr is alluding too. My S3 is best thrown overboard from the nearest ferry. :-(
Nowt wrong with a bit of friendly banter ;-)

Hi Mak and Bertie

Welcome aboard!

As in all things there is a hierarchy on desirable features.....

However my 750 SZ took me to Denmark and back with no trouble apart from a missing nuetral indicator.

The main thing is to get another Kat back where it belongs, on the road!
