GS 550 M

Hi I’ve only just joined but I used to own GTR543X which is a 550M and I’ve come across most of the history of this bike if anyone here owns it…Plus I’ve purchased a original uk 1100 Kat with just over 5000 miles on the clock but very little history..

Welcome to the madhouse John, your in the right place for all things Katana. Lots of friendly helpful and knowledgeable peeps on here plus a fair few nutters too (I'm in the latter category lol)

550 Kats are not in the main kept like bigger Kats so are less represented , but you never know ..

Yes I’m now buying my dream Kat a original 1100 1982 uk bike with just over 5k on the clock purchased from Earl Classic bikes… Yes I wanted one in the 80’s but my finances only ran to the GS 550 Kat…do I put it in my lounge or simply ride her on sunny days….

Only ride on sunny days. Put it in the lounge in between. You know it makes sense.

I used to have a katana 400 I’ve still got the history of it somewhere including a spec sheet from Bat motorcycles…

I’ve found that BAT Motorcycles spec sheet but how do I post it here oh mine was Katana GSX400SSN was K166 SUP and I’ve lots of her history here…
