Hi all,
I was a member some years ago but with life I let my membership lapse, bad me lol
I'm now back and rejoined (well payed my membership, and hope all is ok ;) )
Got one kat on the road

And a gs650 frame and bodywork waiting for a oil cooled motor and a start of a project

Welcome back....gs650 GT or Kat? Does it need to be an oil cooled engine ...could you do an 850 engine or say 1100 G engine both shafties and it is a project..

Thanks, nice to be back.
It's a Gs650 kat frame, tank, side panels and seat
The gs850 engine I don't think will fit by a mile.
I've already get a rf900 rear end for it and a bit of a mix and match gsx600f/b6/RF front end.
Going to be putting a 400 kat fairing on it as well, as I've got one.
Engine wise, I'm going to see what comes up at the weight money.
When I can get to the members area I will start a build thread.

did you do that single rear shock conversion?
82 Katana 1000 (work in progress, but she will be beautiful she has a dedicated sugar daddy)
2010 Z1000 (50k miles, I think that is like 60 Kilometer's or so)

Not sure a 400 fairing will fit too well as it quite narrow, I've got an 1100 one on my 650 and its snug around the tank .
