I've got an EFE gear that looks the same, I was going to use it and see, The race bikes one also looks a bit like that, not quite as bad but the gearbox works perfect on it. Get it checked by someone who knows gears as it maybe won't effect operation.

rattley clutch, read yellow bananas bit of doing it himself how hard can it be well, ground the heads of the rivets easy, no amount of hammering would shift the rivets, took to my local friend matt black and his press made easy work of them, 3 washers later and some clamps took it back and he welded it back up another job done.

I have an illness. I knew only the outside carb tops and bottoms were polished by the factory but I could not stop.

the puller turned up but with a bit of heat the gearbox bearings came off the shaft very easily.
the Haynes manual says how hard it is to pull off the 5th gear so I tried on the old gear set and with much effort and heat moved the gears about 2mm so gave up.
