We have all been there mate. It will all be worth it when you take your shiney steed out for the first time.
I have found that my 24oz estwing claw hammer to be a great source of stress relief when used to batter to death the cause of my displeasure ;) :o

Today I will me mostly disassembling it all again. The paint work on the frame is flaking off in places....it is a lovely job but Unfortunatley at the time it was being lacquered in 2 pack the chap was taken ill, and he frame was moved to prevent from getting damaged. However other staff mistook this to mean it was done . So I collected it stored it in a bedroom for a year or so , so only now has the scenario reared it's ugly head. :?
The plus side is I will get the scruffy bolts zinc plated.
The frame will be re done FOC. Asp.

So last weekends fight with the carbs which took a long while until Smand held he hair dryer in the correct position was a bonding exercise, a dry run if you please, so I will know where the bits go. ;)

However at least I don't live in the south west of England. 8-) They have reason to be pis*ed off. :|

9lb sledge hammer worked for me, completely destroyed a swingarm gently pressing bearings in!

Oh the joy of fitting carbs and airbox in, almost forgotten how much fun that was

Are you sure it's a Kat? Kat engine, Kat clocks, Kat wheels and forks? Mmm! It's not silver is it!

Carbs go on fairly easy with a ratchet strap, can be a bit fiddly getting airbox rubbers on but there are worse bikes for it.

I agree that a 9lb sledge would provide a more satisfying solution to my source of frustration, but as im a carpenter ive got my estwing hanging off my right hip all day long ;) :D
