Re: SKELLYS KATANA INJECTION PROJECT
Ok quick update.
The kat has been running well however, the high pressure injection pump was putting an extra strain on the charging system.
So...
I sent the generator stator off to Rex's speed shop to be rewound with 10% more copper.
Changed the fuel pump to one with a lower flow rate, 120lph rather then 250lph.
Changed all the bulbs to LED's
So far it seems to charge at 13.6 volts at 3000 RPM with the lights on. so far so good.
While I had it in bits I got the injectors serviced and flow tested.
Full engine service.
And purchased an AFR gauge which I will fit as soon as I get time, just got to remove the old lambda boss and reposition it.
I'll post some more stuff when I have had chance to go for a blast.
Cheers.
Skelly.
