Ever thought of a job in PR John, this thread is far more riveting than the official Suzuki one, I've almost forgotten about that new Kat now, ''got to stop now to do some DIY'' what a tease

Re: about bloody time kat build
me and sue took 2 weeks off to do some diy that we have been meaning to do since we moved here in 2008, it involves decking, flagging, concreting and leveling the top of the garden off to 'future proof' it a little, we've shifted 4 ton of sand and gravel by hand, laid 20 odd flags on a very uneven base and put down a decking area thats probably visible from space! on top of this weve had to cope with the wind and rain against us, and still have a big length of fencing to put up. i only posted so the thread didnt appear to be dead, indeed, the last of the parts i needed for the kat only arrived yesterday so i couldnt have done much to it anyway. but, as the nights close in and the garden is now more or less leveled off, i can get the kat into the garage and finally crack the fuelling issue that sent me to denmark on the beemer instead of the kat. and i still reccon the new kat will be little more than a silver painted bandit 1250

Re: about bloody time kat build
Yeah, it's been on the workbench for years, I've started wiring it multiple times and it's always ended up getting further away from complete, but now I'm actually halfway through fitting an electronic wiring loom and switchgear to it using control boxes at front and back linked by a data cable. But every time I start I get dragged away by work, family, or other bike or household stuff so it's painfully slow going. But, I'm hoping for things to get moving over the weekend as I'm clear to go and work for me!
