I already told him I prefered the SF colours! He's going to wish he hadn't asked!!!

Joe what year / reg prefix is the 750 - just wondered if it was an official UK one or later import.

Yep I'd just do the panels in 23c coronet silver, .....or a smokey silver , cheaper and easier than stripping it all down ......the blue is well done but awful! And the errrr lower belly pan..oooow.

The blue initially looked ok, but look closer and you can see different shades, and the finish is not great the index number D79UGF and in believe it to be an 86 model.
The gold frame is what it had originally, asI scraped of some silver, but the belly pan has gone, I ground out the welded brackets last week. The engine is sound, although I need a new choke cable, but it will be on the road again by September all being well.

D reg could have been an original UK import, as our came very late to the party on although 83 models , is in white and Gold without fuel gauge , they were registered 86 , so C AND D reg.
That said DVLA just go off the forms filled in .....we have had a 97 reg'd one before.
However GF was unusually BAT motorcycles around early -mid 90's.

September ..? You mean mid August surely so as to join us in France :D

Joe - just for reference does the v5 say declared new at first registration , or was registered/ used overseas . Declared manufactured 1986. On front at the bottom in number of keepers section.
