Hi folks, next think on the begging list is a Kat flywheel. I have three but none are good enough. 118mm wide if anyone can help. Many thanks

Hi folks, I also need a throttle cable stay the one that goes on the top of the carbs, mine is the wrong type, i dont know how to post pics, the Kat is kind of a straight one.

Got it started up today, sounds really nice and has great oil pressure.

The alternator wasn't working, a new one arrived from electrix, £72 aint to bad, i've fitted it. Next time I fire it up i will check to see if it charging, it wants to be ;-) i will also balance the carbs.

Ive just seen this.
Looks like one of the features of tonight's episode of The Motorbike Show is going to be about the Suzuki Katana, charity bike build. He couldnt promote the charity due to re runs

To be honest the bit in the program about the Katana was brief but in actual fact ..factual! :mrgreen: Good show chap....however the constant switching from one article to another in top gear style is irritating and loses focus on anyone article thus impacting the relevance . ;)

Who'd have thought I was a media critic as well as my many varied talents eh? :P
