Not a Kat and not even a four stroke
As some of you know my first love is two strokes but before you all come round and egg my windows I do love my Kat.
Anyhoos I’ve been restoring a 1973 T500 Suzuki Titan. I used to race one and I’ve had two in the road in the past. Here’s a link to the story from when I got almost five years ago to the present day. If the postie brings the last few bits this week she will be up and running. Hope you like it.

Great job, don't worry about the two stroke thing, I've owned a Kawasaki Kr-1 from new (31 years) and its the most fun you can have with your clothes on

Yes it did Mick, no one told me four strokes don’t need premix

Always love the GT 500....same as T but with a disc brake basically ...first bike I toured on in '78.
Lovely example Paul...just needs a touch of "urban camouflage ".

Re: Not a Kat and not even a four stroke
Nice job Paul - always liked the T500. I had a "R" back in the day - purple and white - but only kept it for a couple of months before part-exing it for it's bigger sibling - a GT750J (also purple and white).
I am currently restoring another purple and white "J" 750 for a friend. Not a nut and bolt restoration, but a tidy, usable bike running Higspeed exhausts.
I also have a later GT750 "M" motor installed in a Triumph frame, but that's not for this forum
