Katana clocks, the bane of my existence since jumping into the rabbit hole I so longed after for years. Impossible to find, impossible to open and even when you get them open they seem impossible to restore.
I've been reading up, looking trough old topics and found out that the needles seem to be.. well.. a problematic item to source. After a very detailed chat with JohnR I asked him for a how-to on replacing them and he said 'I'll send you one after my tea'. Well, I got a bloody bible. Thanks John!
That chat inspired me. Oh boy, it surely did. I got home, started all my favourite software and decided to fix the needle-problem once and for all. Half an hour later, revision 1.0 was born.
Morning came, and the sweet sound of 3D printing filled my workplace. Gladly my boss is used to my antics so didn't even bat an eye.
Since I rode my bike to my shop, I couldn't take my callipers home for revision 1.0. It was conceived with a tape measure and the eye callipers. Revision two should solve the few 'oversights' as we shall call them.
It's faster to break than to repair.
Even the original weights fit!
