The guy who sold me the number plate also sent me a plate he made for someone else. I thanked him for sending my plate quickly and told him the reg of the 'extra' plate. His response:

SEND PICS OF THE PLATE

I messaged back saying that a please would be nice! Don't think I will hear back from him again. Anyone want LF04 VRE? Slogan on bottom .... you'll never guess.

I was tempted to try these on the 250 (other colour schemes available):

Don't forget that Import duty and VAT may be added to goods coming from the EU now.
Ah yeah, damn that Brexit! That probably means you might as well go for the YSS in that case.

The last order I got from CMSNL last month for some PC50 parts came to about £70 with P&P. Their site says that UPS will add £11.50 admin charge on collecting the 2% import duty to UK, but it arrived without that shafting, so maybe on that one I was lucky, not sure but it is a gamble and I did need the parts.

It is hit and miss. I had a package of parts from the EU the other week, value nearly £400 and it came through with no charge.

Well, he did reply:

HI JUST NEED TO SEE A PIC SO I CAN SEND NEW OUT

Still no please. This person just doesn't get the hint.

The slogan on the bottom of the plate was - 'be lucky' !!!!!

Calipers fitted with new pistons and seals. Repaint and new bolts. It all looks quite bling now. Shame the fork sliders are shit.

Fresh, nice.
It's faster to break than to repair.

The litetek kits arrived today, so I got to work. Sprayed some silicone on the float bowl mount, slipped the O ring on and it snaps. Bugger. Waited over three weeks for those to arrive.
Anyway, my main problem is that the carb diaphragms seem to have shrunk with age and I can't keep them seated and put the cap on. Anyone have any tips?

Sorted the diaphragms. 10 mins in very hot water. Swells them enough to make them go in the groove.

I see you already bought the pistons and seals but if you ever feel like doing it again...

On mine I got these Titanium ones as the kit:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265131963233

You can get other titanium parts from them at their main website:
https://titanclassics.com/suzuki-bike-parts/

You just need to cross reference the part numbers - as you find same parts fitted on the RGV250 VJ21, VJ22, Bandit 400 etc. of the same era. I also got the front brake lever bolt and maybe one or 2 other parts that I won't tell the missus about...
