Since everybody on plague island seems to hate shiny things... here's some more :?

I have no clue how many miles this bike has done but if the amount of wear on the final drive is anything to go by it's probably on the lower end!

I’m not against shiny things, it’s just that I’ve never really been that inclined to sit and polish stuff (as Fred61 will tell you), in fact I do like shiny bike especially if they have a collection of dead flies on the screen/headlight etc.

No worries, all of my bikes got out last year and I intend to do the same this year :-)

That’s a good looking Kat.

Could be the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop. But it’s probably the North Sea :D :D

All the junk has been cleared out and flex seal applied to the inner flanges of the final drive housing.
Think went together smooth as butter. I am pretty sure it's never been apart but the marring on those center JIS heads looks pretty suspect...

A nicely polished shaft goes a long way
Fresh paint helps too!

I have to source some studs because someone borrowed them out of this one. Some fat Allen bolts with the right thread (M10x1.25) will keep it together for now. Another part almost ready to be bolted on 8-)

Next up is the plating of the bolts, shock stud and final drive studs.
