Re: Resin Corse
Thanks Blix, I have been in touch with him and he is being incredibly helpful. It turns out that he lives about 5 miles away and I am going to see him with my carbs tonight.
(he suggested 132 as a starting point by the way)
thanks again

Re: Resin Corse
Thanks to all the help the brilliant Steve Katmarch gave me with my carbs...the engine now runs! Great to hear after all this time. Revved and idled after only a few mins of tinkering. Needs tuning as its a bit lumpy, although I must admit I like the sound as it is.
Also fitted and bled rear brake, worked out seat fit height, swapped all the exhaust bolts, rerouted some wiring, modified a longer gear lever, fitted a new clutch perch and lever.
So progress being made.
Chain on and it should work - just hope my measuring was right all those years ago.

Re: Resin Corse
Loosely fitted the bodywork to see how it looks. Needs some fettling to fit right, but not too bad.
Best news of the day. Looked into my tank for the first time in years... and it is mint!
Still loads to do, then need to decide whether to try painting myself, and what to do about mirrors as nothing I have tried looks right.
