Re: Resin Corse
Hello again! I have changed job, moved house and thanks to covid have had time to clear out the garage and get back on the case. With my old job getting incredibly busy and my kids doing really well at sport and needing driving everywhere, I can't believe how long it is since I thought I was nearly finished!
In the past few weeks I have changed the front end, changed and rebuilt front m/c, fitted braided lines, repolished things, checked spark, changed oil, etc etc.
Looking through previous posts I see that all the pics are now missing since Imageshack finished their free hosting. I will look into seeing what the best way of posting pics is now.
At the moment, I am looking for advice about carb jetting. I will have stock 750 carbs, 816 wiseco kit, pod filters and a marving racing exhaust. I know that there is likely to be a lot of messing about (and I also know a stock airbox would be easier) but can anyone give me an idea of a good baseline for main and pilot jets (or any others)? I have been doing lots of googling and suggestions go from a 120-135 main, which is a huge range.
Anyway, Its good to be back in the garage and making progress.

Re: Resin Corse
Brakes bled and working - fought me for a couple of hours though.
Spent 5 mins making a couple of temporary ali 'clamps' fixed to the mudguard bolt .. but now they're on I sort of like them.

(That cute little boy on page 3 is now a county rugby player and known on the circuit for his ferocious tackling! Shows how long its been)

Re: Resin Corse
Texaco Heron.!
Mind you I had a Dunstall GT 380 which had a similar visual cosmetically challenged bodywork,
I painted it in red lead primer then in creamy white drew the outline of bricks on it ...so I could park against a wall and it'd blend it....Urban Camoflage !
On the top it was Matt black with 2 yellow stripes ...urban Camoflage!
Finally got a local yoof in Telford to tag Suzuki on the side to complete the urban Camoflage !
Just saying.
