Re: Resin Corse
I got together a registered frame, 1100 engine, braced swingarm, marzocchis, decent tank, rf900 front end etc etc. Then went to buy a parts bike from FBM - it was too good to break for parts, so I have decided to use it for the resin corse, then use the other bits to build another katana maybe.
Here it is with the tank on, and a new battery
I just spent some time rebuilding fuel tap with a kit off Ebay, going through the wiring, fitting the battery, etc etc. Put some petrol in and after about 5mins it runs!
It doesn't run well, but then I haven't cleaned the carbs or even adjusted the plugs, so I'm happy
Here's a few more pics...
and here's a few of what it might look like

You can get various creams and stuff for that nowadays.

Re: Resin Corse
Good project you've got going there and I'm one of the few people who actually like the ResinCorse. I've got 'most' of one but it's in the rebuild queue (lengthy).

Re: Resin Corse
Thanks for the offer Liam.
I have a couple of seat units which are (hopefully) usable.
My biggest problem will be the fairing frame as they're slightly different from normal Kats. One of the upper (I think) mounts is kinda bent at an angle, don't know if you've noticed on yours but I'm reliably informed (cold_snail).

Re: Resin Corse
I've just sent mine to powdercoating. I should get it back at the weekend if you want some pics.
There's a bar that goes across and attaches to the fake oil cooler holes too. Let me know if you haven't got one as they look pretty simple to make.
