They never had 34mm Smooth bore carbs they had VM32 round slide carbs in the UK!

I will try and find the info you need for the VM32 slide carbs...........Give me a day or 2 to dig out the manual....

I do know they had 95# main jets!
There was never a fuel metering screw figure as these were set at the factory by a fancy machine.....2 - 2 and a 1/2 turns out would be a good starting point though!

As for the pilot air screw 1 and 3/4 turns out springs to mind! Just play with them til it runs ok!

Dont think they are the same on the 1100 carbs.......search for GS1000 needle valve on ebay USA, as there are quite a few on there but quite expensive, although there are some used ones, but id be a bit wary of using used ones.

Take a look at this ebay item number 301048084572 for used ones

Or Take a look at this ebay item number 181215785547 for new ones, but theyre expensive
