I mentioned earlier in this thread , there is a plan B .
Obviously the band won't be able to play and the pub will be table service etc etc . But the event will go ahead but the venue will be altered . I will get some beer etc for the day . We can do a run later .
Should anyone wish to drop out it's understandable but the event WILL GO AHEAD .
Camping is still available ...In fact acres of it.

Ok so new plan.
The event will be based at my small holding / stable yard.
The collection point will still be The Plough.. But then at a given time we can ride to the location .( 1 mile but the road to it is I un -adopted .
( this needs to be because we are passing a top yard and horses.)
Once there the bikes can be parked and tents pitched by those camping or vans parked .
There is 6 acres of cut fields . There is a toilet ,kitchen , BBQ , trampoline , deep paddling pool.
On Friday evening we go to the Indian , then to the pub / micropub next door.
At th end of evening those at the yard get a lift as do th hoteliers.
Saturday a repeat but by ear as we can drink , eat , silly game as we wish .

Unfortunately the pubs are sitting in and beer gardens and dancing etc isn't permitted due to the restrictions caring on !

Sounds like a great weekend. One thing though is it wise to let a group of ageing Kat enthusiast full of beer near a deep paddling pool?

I can't even swim! And I am very short. Don't let me near the pool.

What time do we meet at the pub?

Hate to be pedantic but the "un-adopted" road was used by N.A.S.A to test their moon rover but the vehicle couldn't cope so they moved elsewhere. Not saying it's rough just be prepared.

Hmmm I might borrow my mates 490 Maico scrambler to test it out then  will I be out in the naughty corner if I roll up on that? Oh and I might need to borrow a set of step ladders so I can get on and off it

Getting off won't be a problem. A monster like that will have you off every 100 yards!
