The Germans did this in the 80's to Kats ....some survived even though they shouldn't have ..

That’s pretty much the Gimbel catalogue on a Kat. Bet there’s not many left like that.

The lower faring looks like the ones that were fitted to Australian Kats. I will see if I can find a photo of one that I took of one circa 2005.

I quite like it too. In fact I do like what the Germans do with their bikes.
