Help me out please Cat,
I've recently joined the Club & after only a few interactions I think it morally correct if I was to register as a paid member,
however,
my personal choice has been to never partake in social media due to mistrust of these juggernauts, I refuse to use or register to faceoff/tweeter/instaGran/etc., & catagorically will never do so;
therefore, would I benefit from becoming a paid member as I do see a lot of facebook addresses?
Your advice will be most welcome.
Kind regards,
BradGSX1100SD .

Cat no longer resides here...
As a club really we are based around this forum online, though you will find the posts are from a core with others dipping in to have a look. We have very recently also made a Facebook group (which is private) to see how that goes, maybe it will have different members within in it, we don't know yet, it's too new.
There are some areas that only members can get to and generally amongst members if someone can help with parts then they tend to be cheaper or in cases free!
Membership was dropped to £5 a year, but I think at the AGN last month they decided on £10 this year (from April) as we (as in UK) are hosting the EuroKat 10 in August so need funds to run that.
I'll be corrected if any of that is wrong.

Membership will be £10 from April for 1 year only , then it should revert back to £5 ( tbc at next AGM in November)
Joining can be done via PayPal , or come along to our Rally in May ( within the NABD rally) near Knutsford and use cash....or drop me a PM and I'll give you a postal address.
Should you decide to join now & pay the £10 I feel we should count it as the same year as everyone else , so effectively 14 months .( Christmas present from us )

Thank you Uncle Bob & Fossie,
I understand how vital subscriptions can be & the importance of alternative, although restricted, free membership. I spoke about it with Craig Jones from GPZ900R Owners several years back when subscriptions arose but initially in the year before he formed that excellent Club, so I have no reservations in becoming a paid member immediately & may I say:
"Thank you for the Christmas present.
I shall attempt to do this via PayPal but can you guide me as how best to do this please.
Footnote added , NB: Please forgive me Craig Davies ;
I'm was a multitasking & Mr. Craig Jones became Mr. Craig Davies, a double apology from me .

fossie:
I've now paid £10 through the PayPal method, along with the info. you requested so hopefully that is successful.
Uncle Bob:
The ebay link you sent me regarding the Fast Bikes book & cd has resulted in my ordering it. I had been searching since you mentioned it in our initial correspondence but had no luck, so there is yet another debt of gratitude I owe you.
Thank you both.
