Another newb
Hi, another new boy. The wrong side of 50, on and off bikes most of my life.
A rather horrible 650 found its way to my garage recently, after an eBay click or two, some help of my two sons, Europcar and a VW van.
Its all there, well, most of it, it runs albeit with a bit of a rattle and will be given a cosmetic makeover before I use it. I'd like it to be as stock as possible, or at least resemble stock.
When done, my current ride will go, and I hope a second Katana will keep it company.

Well hello this is the spirit get a Kat then another......
This rattle on the 650 is it on tick over and quite rythmithical? If so it's fine, cam end float no need to worry .
Any other rattle, balance the carbs before you rip anything off.
Bike looks fine as is just ride and enjoy.
Again hello.

Thank you. The rattle is on tick over, so that's good news. I'll get a few more photo's soon. The tank was treated to a rattle can job by the previous keeper, and he didn't use a petrol resistant clear coat. Its a mess. I only intend to paint the tank and side panels, the seat has two rips, so I'm after a replacement or cover, the other bits will be done as and when I feel the urge.
