Could be a bargain.650.

Post by fossie » Sun Oct 08, 2017 6:52 pm

This 122745012292. could be a bargain , looks ok , write seems honest enough.
I would be interested but can't get to London to collect in by that weekend . Oh and I will need to shift the 650 I have already. This one is too tidy for me really.

705 quid and a day to go. is perhaps the price inflation of the bigger katanas is finally filtering down to the 650's?
and still a day to go.

Well the honesty of the ad should give a good indication of price guide. It went for £877
Which means the 650 is becoming sort after. ;)

Making that M&P one look better; On Friday, I emailed M&P the questions you said to ask and they have not bothered to answer.
I might just phone them up and see if they'll take an offer (probably not if they saw this tatty one go for £877!)

Go on uncle bob , got to be worth a call.
The 650 is basically unbreakable, all the faults are easy sorted ........the 2 nd gear issue is not usual but happens when ridden to spirited through the gear box rather than using th torque.
That said it is easy to just forget 2nd gear and go straight to 3rd.! ;)

Ok ....so has someone got a guilty secret :D the better of the 650's from M&P has disappeared from the listings  Seems looking at prices just recently that it was a fair price.
A 650 which was quite a sad state looking for a good home started at £10 went for £250. The one which was a club bike (white) but a few weeks later is being resold is up to £510! With days to go, this one needs paint work etc so someone must be factoring this in .
