Seeing RED

Post by tigcraft » Sun Jun 08, 2025 5:47 pm

Well there’s only one way to say this …..
My 250 Kat is going RED!!
Tank was beaten up and plastics broke so a major overhaul is needed.
I know it’s against the grain but I detest silver and it’s depressing when we’ve so many bright and interesting ‘happy’ colours to play with but manufacturers only offer gloomy ones! So yes silver is the colour of the katana sword but then blood red is the result of using the thing!!
I’ve chosen a solid red similar to the eighties gsx250 or the even the TL1000s.

We have desire to see every Kat in Silver at all ...no personal choice is more important, But if we are going to be pedantic the SE model katana was Red with a red frame , so you'll not be straying too far eh??  ;)

This colour scheme of the 250 is definitely my favourite, not full red just enough.

Blimey, was it really June when I posted the last episode on here? 🫣 So, it’s now 2026 and I’ve got back onto the ‘little Red baron’. This week the panels went finally RED,

So, that’s looking like I will finally get the bike finished then registered on the road (somehow) in the next few months.
