Ok. Try linking the wire from the loom to the pressure switch down to earth, either the engine case or the negative terminal of the battery, with the ignition on.
If that lights up the lamp then you can check resistance from the pressure switch terminal to crankcase and again to the battery negative terminal.
Would be worth checking the resistance or continuity between the crankcase and the battery negative terminal as well.
