Hi and welcome.
Though the bike looks reasonable, apart from the tail, chances are there's a good bit of work involved in getting it roadworthy.
For example, the brakes will alomost certainly need overhauling.
Personally I'd only pay £1000 to £1200.
Oh and check it is actually a 1000cc.
CC is cast on the bottom front of barrels, should be 997cc.

what you need to do is check if its got a kat 1000 engine number. the 1100 engine numbers all began with gs110x the 1000 number began gs10x.

Good prices you have in UK.....In Russia it's much more expensive:((( Old Bros 400 for example can cost 100.000-110.000 RUR.....Everything because of import taxes....Here is the formula: ((price in Japan+20% import taxes) + (price in Japan+20% import taxes)*18%VAT)=price in Russia
