Thanks for the warm welcome boys and girls.

The frames has had some bracing done, which is handy, but some of it has just been tacked on.
Not sure how effective some of the bracing will be as it's been heavily drilled. Looks good though.
Also thinking of modifying the left frame rail to sort some chain clearance issues, but want to do it so its not obvious. Not a 2 minute job. Don't feel to bad about chopping it about as the previous owner has all ready made a start.
Thinking of using efe foot peg hangers, I know it's been done to death, but still looks good. Then again, I've a set of very tatty harris rear sets in a box somewhere

The tank I've got looks like someones been playing footie with it.
Anyone know of anyone who can fix dents (not fill them) in the north west?

The bracing plates look ok to me, but the welding ???, looks like it just needs cleaning up and welding properly.

You can get chain alignment with a 5.5" wheel (just) without having to tub the frame out but a 6" rim will need frame mods

Not my welding, but about the same standard
Going to get someone who knows what they're doing to tidy them up.

Hoping to use a 6" rim, but looking in to spreading the frame rail out rather than the more usual frame cut outs. Even thought about putting chain 'tunnels' in the frame with box or tube, but think that might look a bit odd?
