Back on topic. Was testing out the cobblers glueing skills, and it turns out he was pretty shite 
But every cloud and all that......i found some really good strong glue that has really stuck down well. I have really tried wrenching the heel off the boot and it is holding on really well.
The stuff is called shoe goo. Cost me a fiver from bay of evil.
