paint codes

Post by germankat » Sat Feb 25, 2012 1:18 pm

can anyone help with this? I have found the paint codes for the 1100 Katana but I'm not sure if it for the bodywork or not. are 13L bright silver metallic and 13Y dark royal blue the colours for the tank and seat unit? Also can anyone recommend a paint supplier for these colours please?
Thanks. :?

Yes, codes are for the bodywork. There's a paint from Standox which is a perfect match in case your local painter can't supply any following the Suzook codes. I can dig out an old can of paint for the code if you want.

Hi Pedda, if you could dig out the codes from Standox that would be a big help as the painter is struggling to find a match with his usual suppliers.

Haven't got a Standox code or a can of 13Y, unfortunately. Maybe someone can help out on that one...

Thanks again for that, it seems that the dark royal blue 13L is going to be the problematic one. Anyone out there know about this please?

Problem is that the tails aren't painted, the material is fully coloured, through and through. Best idea is get an old one to a painter and compare it to pait cards to get a match.
