Hush your mouth John.

Honestly, this lot are robbers. Just had a really bad experience with them. Luckily not lost too much, but the old saying "to good to be true" works well here.

Had a gold watch that my mum gave me years and years ago. Decided to sell it as it was never worn. Had a quote from a local shop of £300. Someone told me to check this lot out and their website had a calculator on it. Put my watches weight and karot and it quoted me £440. sent it off coz they said i could have watch back if it didnt check out ok. Anyway...sent it to them and waited for quote. Didnt get one. Instead they just sent me a cheque for £218 !!! phoned them up and they came out with so much bollocks. Honestly. It would appear that i never ticked a box that meant i was prepared to not be quoted and that the website calculator was not a accurate guide (so ,why have it ????) also, if i wasnt happy with the price i had to pay £50 to get the watch back(valuation fee!!!).

Looked on the money expert forum and these guys are doing this to every one.

I managed to get some more money out of them (another £53) so not lost out too much. I had to speak to a couple of people, and think i struck lucky with a girl i spoke to. She was very sympathetic and more or less rubbished the company(must be a new girl). Fingers crossed i get the cheque and they dont bounce.
