It all went really well, had a cracking weekend, got a 3rd and 4th on saturday then two 2nds on sunday. 3rd in championship. not bad after 12 years off, made lots of mistakes and wasn't as consistant as i used to be, but steadily improved and learnt new stuff too.
There's more from me as i get back into it, but the competition is pretty strong, thought it would be all oldies but there's a few young uns going very well.. Looking forward to Cadwell now but won't get any practice beforehand, just 5 laps morning warm up then into the race. Should be interesting !
I prepped my bike by the rules, but when i got there the others (mostly FZ600's) are running race cans, I lacked a little speed out of corners and on the straights as my XJ has a naff motad, so need to sort out something freeer flowing, as long as it's no more than 100db then it's ok to use.
