kids gone for a rare visit to their mums for a day or 2 so thought i would pop out on the 550 and strike a pose. Got as far as the end of the road and turned back :(

Doesnt seem to be firing that well on 1 and 4 as the headers were not as hot as the middle 2. Thinking maybe coil ?

Will try and have a look tommoz.

Think its 1 and 4 Mick. will double check later. cleaning the kids rooms at the moment !! Its a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it ;)

Well...swapped the coil over for one i had sitting on my plentiful spares shelf ;) and no difference. Poked about a bit with a multimeter, pretending i knew what i was doing. Didnt find anything i could make any comment about. Thought i would have a look at my fuel filter and decided to take it off as i have never been happy with the way it sat and also thought it wasnt flowing enough fuel coz it was never full up with petrol :o

Anyway, lo and behold she fired up on all 4 :D :D however.............she did cut out a few times and i think i may have a loose connection somewhere. :( :( as during all of this i checked a plug to see if it was sparking...and it wasnt :o

Will have another poke around tomoz if i can.

Update - plug gap set too small. Proper gap=happy pete :)
